Jillian Williams is a long term local of Coober Pedy who joined the Umoona art Centre in July of 2024, and works in creating beautifully detailed pieces.
In this piece Jillian portrays the surrounding waterholes of her grandfathers country north of Alice Springs. These secluded waterholes are perfect for swimming and her first visit to them in 2022 inspired her to paint the land, bringing her closer to her family and country.
