Lena was born in Alice Springs in 1997 and she grew up in Amata, Pukatja (ernabella). She was raised by Nyunmiti Burton and Jennifer Ingkatji. Lena went to school in Ernabella and moved to adelaide to attend Woodville highschool.
Lena paints the seven sisters story, she started painting in 2022 she learnt from the elders that she paints with in the Adelaide studio.
