425-26AS, Farron Furber, Acrylic on Belgium Linen, 200 x 200 cm
Farron Furber is a Warlpiri artist, born in Alice Springs in 1992. His artistic practice has been highly influenced by the women who raised him his mother Julianne Turner and his grandmother Maureen Hudson whose distinct dot painting style is most recognised for its intricate style that depicts her families Country. Furber found inspiration to paint at a young age watching his grandmother paint and his own work reflects the beauty of Alice Springs landscape. Vibrant shifting colours within Furber’s works mimic the warm feeling of watching the sunset in Alice Springs which he says inspires his artwork.
