“I have worked most of my life with the women in this community, who are hardworking, passionate and committed. We are determined to have an art centre in our community. We want the chance to grow employment opportunities for women in Umoona and Coober Pedy today and in the future. We want a place where we can come together for meaningful work; that is important to us as Aboriginal women. We have started our work and we have big plans for a bright future.” Christine Lennon
