BIOGRAPHY

Aileen Adamson is a promising artist painting at Kaltjiti Arts in Fregon community on the APY Lands.

Having recently commenced painting, Aileen's main theme is Piltati which was passed down from her grandmother. This is the country of the Piltati Tjukurpa; the Wanampi Tjukurpa – the story of two watersnakes. Her mother’s Country is Docker River in Western Australia, and her father was from Amata on the APY Lands.

Aileen paints at the Kaltjiti Arts daily and has lived in Fregon for many years with her husband and four children.
