427-25AS, Adelaide Studio, acrylic on linen, 146 x 150cm

There is a significant site near Mimili community where Sandra is from that women go to to collect maku (witchetty grub). The site is connected to ancestor sisters who sang inma (traditional songs) at this site and hit the rocks with sticks and many witchetty grubs came from the ground.

The artwork is like a topographical map depicting the country, the song lines, the hill where witchetty grub is found and a special culturally significant location for women.
