She grew up in Ernabella and Fregon with her mother Tinpulya and spent some time in Watarru, the country of her grandmother.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eJoyce paints the rockholes and animal tracks from this country. Over the last few years her style has evolved from using a brush to a strong dot technique, painting with a punu (a wooden stick). You'll find Joyce hard at work most days at Kaltjiti Arts. She is a valuable director and advisor to our new and emerging artists.
